Only launch programs

I have objectdock and all I want it to do is launch programs, when I click the Firefox button instead of opening a new firefox window it brings up a minimized firefox window I already have.

I really only want my task bar to view and switch between windows I already have open and then use object dock as a quick launch window at the top of my screen instead of it trying to help me by allowing me to view different tabs of windows I already have open.

Any help

Open OD2 config; Settings; Advanced Tweaks; uncheck first option ( When a shortcut is run....) this will allow for a new instance to open when shortcut is clicked rather than the open one being brought to front.
