huh  you lost me on that 8C   programs  like ccleaner ,  Firefox   .and alot of others i just drag to objectdock  no problems  but when i drag a paint program  it just shows a question mark  and fiefox  is 64 bits so no problem there   but  i  just created a shortcut  of windows dvd maker out of programs  not the programs x86   and that also left a question mark   just odd that some 64 bit programs out of the program  folder  (64bit)  works   and some  don't   as Firefox  64 bit is in the 64 bit programs and it drags into  objectdock without a problem kinda puzzling :S       oh and thanks for replying

32/64 makes no difference. If you right click on any icon: Settings/ Customize this icon.

Try dragging from Start Menu. Failing that (although, I assume this is what you're doing), make a shortcut to Desktop and drag that.

Failing the above, put the icon in C:\Users\user\Documents\Stardock\ObjectDock Library and point to it.
