IP Update for Windows7

Hi !

One of my favorite apps is for sure IP.

In last time, i have been pretty busy with Package Builder in IP, but i discovered that IP Package Builder is not 100% compatible with Windows7.

For e.g. , i can change all icons manualy in IP, but when i want to create in PackageBuilder, for e.g. Documents Library, there is no this icon in PackageBuilder, etc.

And when i open Library folder in Taskbar (the new one in W7), here is also not really clear what icons are where in Package Builder, four icons in main window are actualy Public Folders, and icons in navigation Panel are also something, i think Public Icons in Package Builder, so little bit confusing.

I think that PackageBuilder is still more on XP icons based, as on the Vista and specialy Windows7.

So, my question is :

If it is in plan in the near future or at all, is it in plan to sinchronize (to update) Package Builder and IconPackager for the Windows7, or it will stay as is it, more compatible for XP ???

Thank you in advance PA

I would think you could ask support@stardock.com and get a more reliable and authoritative answer, PianoArt. Good luck with your icon package! I look forward to seeing it. :)

Take a look here, i have made some. They are not my icons, but put some nice icons in IP.

You should be able to edit these within IconPackager itself:

Then once you do, just save the edited package.

WOW ! Thanks a lot Shirley, didn“t know about that solution in IP itself, i thought i must change that already in PackageBuilder.

So this is great info, thank you very much.
