unable to register at impulse

and impulse client is unable to connect to the internet

hi,

maybe someone can help me here.

as far as i am aware everything is clear for the impusle client, but it simply wont find its way to the internet.

so i tried registering at impusle and writing there, but the website wont let me register with firefox.

after having filled in everything and clicking on sign up it just sends me up on the page.

check firewalls and security software

they can sometimes stop impulse and steam from getting to the internet

yeah sorry, i forgot to mention i already did check all those basic things and it is not working.

the thing is, i have no problem with anything else on my computer. as far as i am aware of all is functioning probably except the internet explorer, but i dont use it. so if the impulse client somehow uses services of the internet explorer, maybe it is connected to that. a wild guess, i know.

otherwise i really have no idea what this could be. again things work pretty fine. my internet is working and there is no firewall nor router blocking ports. still it throws the message at me: server not responding, please check your internet.

 

ps:

now that i am thinking on it, steam community does not work either since ages and i dont know why, but atleast you still can use the server browser andrecieve updates.

possibly a connection?

 

 

 

pps: here is the message from glorious internet explore on why it cannot connect to google:

"the remote device (google.com) is not setup to accept connections on world wide web port http.

Unknown then. Firefox works fine for me with Impulse. Maybe mess with the settings in the menu (the blue box, upper left corner). If not contact support@stardock.com.
