Can't Uninstall WindowsBlinds

I have a fairly simple question: how do I uninstall WindowsBlinds (the trial version 7.2)? I've tried reinstalling WindowsBlinds then uninstalling it again, but I always get the same result - a "Wise Uninstall" box saying, "Could not open INSTALL.LOG file."

I've searched the forums & knowledgbase without luck. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Uninstall using CCleaner or FCleaner.

If you had the trial copy and your 30 days are up, that's that. You can't reinstall.

If you like it, pick up ODNT.

Thanks DrJBHL, but unfortunately, neither of these programmes worked. Both resulted in the same error message about the install.log file, which I suspect may be corrupted.

I have the trial version and I had prevuiously reinstalled it, which seemed to work ok, but still got the same error message. What if I deleted the uninstall.log file and reinstalled again?

Before doing anything like that, I'd suggest asking for help at support@stardock.com .

They might not help as it's the free copy.

You have a second option: Revo uninstaller. It's also free. If it doesn't work for the same reason, I would suspect that the install.log file was corrupt, and that maybe you can delete that separately. I just can't tell you to do that as I don't know the possible consequences.

Run as admin on Vista/7.  Select WindowBlinds from the list and hit "Apply"

Thanks Shirley. I had some hope when I ran the programme...but it crashed! I'm running Windows XP so maybe that was the problem. Never mind. I think I'll just delete the install.log file & cross my fingers.
