Update to my problems with Windowblinds 4.0

Well, I finally have Windowblinds working with my LotusNotes application again! I deleted all the files and restarted. I downloaded an early version of Windowblinds and then upgraded to 3.5 build. In this build I was able to delete any reference to notes.exe and lnotes.exe from the exclusion list. That way it will skin this application. With the latest version of Windowblinds, you don't see the "hidden" list of application that Windowblinds will not skin. And I think it's putting this exception back in when I upgrade to the latest version. That's my guess anyway. For now I will just stay with 3.5. Does anybody out there have this problem ? Please advise.

I think you may be right aout WB rewriting the exclusions list,It has happened to me several times,but they are not hidden.(at least not in my version,4.2)I sometimes have to delete the default exclusion for programs like Skinstudio and add it manually or WB skins it anyway.If a program has a default exclusion ,there is usually a good reason.If a program gets included that you want to change try changing the settings of the exclusion instead of deleting it.Then maybe it will stick.(maybe)

Betty, I have good news!   I was reading the WB newsgroup the other day and learned about the wbdbg.ini located in the WB folder. There are apps excluded with this ini file, that don't appear in the pre application list. Lotus Notes is one of them.

;Lotus Notes - may not longer be necessary
[nlnotes.exe]
ActiveFix=1
IgnoreApp=1
DontShow=1

Change the 'IgnoreApp=1' to =0 to kill the exclusion.
Change the 'DontShow=1' to =0 to have it appear in the per app list.

I would unload WB prior to editing the ini.

Success!. I did exactly as the message says by Wizop Koasati. Previously in Windowblinds the exclusion for Lotus Notes showed up in the hidden list, but now it's only in the ini file. I now have an application that I have to use everyday "skinned" with my favorite OSXP skin. Thanks so much for the quick responses and fix!
