Change the skin for an old application but leave everything else alone?

I've been trying on and off to change the skin for an old version of Paint Shop Pro (5) which I prefer over the garbage out there now, but I've never been able to get what I need.

I know Windowblinds CAN skin it because if I apply a system wide theme it works.  But when I try to do the "per application" theme and select the exe, it never works no matter what I try.

I don't think I care about theming my entire OS (there's always SOME app which looks bad and I prefer buttons like Aero's which border the edge of the screen since they're easier to click) but I really would love to have PSP NOT use the default Aero theme.  The problem is that the idiotic looking old-person style massive min/max/close buttons are so big in Aero that it takes up the ENTIRE top of the frame in PSP, making it impossible to drag the window when you have a small image unless you resize it.  Annoying as hell.

Any ideas for what I can do here?  This has been driving me nuts for years.. I refuse to ditch PSP 5 over such a stupid thing!  :)

Picture of the annoying problem, notice the tiny window has no area on the frame to drag it (from the top).  Dumb!  I hate you Microsoft! :)
