OD's killing/killed my PC

Ever since the start of 2004 I've been having problems with OD. It started as not being able to apply suits or create my own (no listed OD apps in the suits bit). Then windowblinds, objectbar got stuck on. They all said they werent starting at startup and I set my theme to windows classic. Normally this deactivated OD basically, but as soon as I restarted my pc, it loaded themk all up and went back to the previous style I had used. Having to unload them manually annoyed me, so I uninstalled them. However, now its left Windows crippled. It cant change anything in display properties because Run as a dll crashes, and I cant reinstall the OD applications either because of loads of errors coming up.

Any help apreciated

I would be surprised if OD did this to your machine........what are the specs of your machine.........You might be best advised to do a total clean and reinstall

Leo's right....sometimes a certain sequence of installs and uninstalls can really mess things up. It's just what makes using Microsoft products so wonderfully challenging Once you do get a basic install perfect....back it up. It'll make the next scrubbing less painful

https://www.stardock.com/files/odnt_zapper.exe ...run this and see if it fixes it.

BTW: what OS are you using?

I'm using XP

I think the problem is with WindowBlinds though, even after uninstalling, its still present, sort of, and its broken the display properties as it tries to change the theme but cant and fails.

It started when WindowBlinds was only skinning about 5 applications, it wasnt even skinning IE. Then it went downhill from there.

I havent installed or uninstaloled any other software recently, just Object Desktop.

Thanks for the replies
