Where is the Window Blinds installation software?

I own a registered copy of WB 7, installed on one machine, and I would also like to install it on my laptop. I understand this is okay to do as long as I am the owner and primary user of both machines (which I am). However, I can't seem to locate the installation software anywhere although I assume I downloaded it when I installed WB originally. I also can't seem to be able to access it through Impulse. Does anybody know what, specifically, I need to do?

Also be sure you are using the same account in Impulse that purchased WindowBlinds.

Thanks, but like I said, I couldn't find where to download the installation software on Impulse. Right-clicking Window Blinds in "My Software", I did find the "download and archive" option, but I was unable to locate the installation software after I tried that. I wasn't sure exactly what I downloaded and where it went. Please tell me, specifically, where I can download the installation software in Impulse. Thanks.

On the computer where you want to install WindowBlinds, open Impulse, go to the My Software tab and click on WindowBlinds and then select install.  :sun:

Thanks for that. I didn't have Impulse on the machine I want to add WB to. So I installed impulse and logged on to my existing account (same account as the machine with WB7). However, when I clicked the "My Programs" tab, it doesn't show WB. Sorry to be so dense, but it seems to me that Stardock makes this process uneccesarily difficult.

leafdesigner it should show on the My Software tab, probably grayed out.  If not click on the View option and make sure that it isn't hiding non installed applications.

I was able to get to show up through "add registration". Thanks for your help- I've got it installed now.

I just downloaded WindowBlinds 7 from Impulse and went through this same thing (previous versions were MUCH easier as Impulse wasn't involved!). First, Impulse has no readily visible info on how to download & save software when you don't want to install it on the spot. By fooling around and right-clicking on things, I discovered the "Download and Archive" option. Selected that. Watched it download all 54.20 MB of WB7. Impulse does not show the download filename was or where it was saved to. Finally, out of frustration, I did "Download and Archive" again, and at the end of the download, I got a pop-up box that revealed the secret archive location, because it said "you already have this here, do you want to overwrite it...". I grabbed a pen, wrote it down, and typed the info into a text file that is now part of the zip archive containing the backup copy of WB7 and my registration/receipt docs. This is where Impulse put it:

C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Impulse\backup\WindowBlinds 77.20.036_03.24.2011.impulse

Let's hope that future revisions of the Impulse software makes these things readily visible. A standard "Save As" dialog box would be great...

After using the download and archive function, do this:
