unable to install

from Stardock Forums

i have just spent last 20 mins buying and trying to install windowblinds!

i had no download link and no serial sent to me.

then i got a download link but again no serial and after downloading windowblinds, it says it will not work with my os which is windows 7 ultimate!

so whats going on?

can someone please help as this is beyond a joke, and i have installed impulse.

Have you installed trial version previous to buying if so remove & reboot, apart from any security software blocking install start a support ticket

OK... be glad to try:)

First, if you have the trial copy of WB, uninstall it after saving your Aero Theme and applying it BEFORE you uninstall the trial copy.

Uninstall the trial using CCleaner which is free on the net. HERE . Use the link on the right upper part of the webpage. Then reboot.

If you've installed Impulse, then sign in using your email (that you used to buy WB) OR scotsdavy1 and as your password, use whichever one you currently use to sign onto WinCustomize.

You'll notice a small circular spoked wheel spinning on the right side of the top bar near the blue question mark. Wait til it stops.

Then open the "My Software" tab and WB should appear as available for download.

After installing Windowblinds you should reboot.

Then start downloading skins, and enjoy it!

hi

i finally got it to work but years ago when i got windowblinds you were sent a download link plus serial instead of all this security stuff you have now.

still, glad i stuck with it and i enjoy using the new skins. might upgrade at a later date.

i installed from scratch and didn`t try a trial version first.
