How do you save a custom sovereign?

I have been creating a custom sovereign each game, but I always have to create a new one from scratch.  Is there a way to save a custom sovereign so I don't have to re-create one each time?

After creation, and between official patches, any SoV made is on the SoV pick list on the same screen as the create New button?

Look in this Dir under Windows XP for the .xml file of the guys you made/make

C:\Documents and Settings\%loginname%\My Documents\My Games\Elemental\Units

Thanks!  They were there, but not showing up.  Once I cleared the folder, it started to show the new ones I created again.
