users......

well it seems i was playin around yesterday in the control panel. and i set a user in the "users" section. i know the pass and all, but i wanna how to get it back the way it was. with no set users. well thanx for replying bye.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's something like this: Go back into users, clear any names that are in there, I think if you just leave it blank and re-boot, it should be o.k.
I could be wrong, it's a long time since I messed around in there, but it's worth a shot.
By the way, when you ask a question like that, don't forget to say which operating system you are using.

Taylor must be on a 9?/Me version. NT & 2000 require a login. Mac and others don't have this problem. Right click Network Neighborhood and select properties. Under Primary network logon make sure Windows Logon is selected. Click apply and OK then reboot. When the login box pops up this time leave both username and password blank and click OK. You shouldn't have that annoying box anymore. Reboot to check. Another solution is to use Tweak UI or similar program to automatically log you in. Good luck.

okay, i tried to delete the names in the login. but it wont let me delete the name im on. But i did go to network places, select properties, and there is a selection, Microsoft Family Logon. (is that it?) well it has a button to remove it. and oh i see now, there is also a thing to select "windows logon" so i guess i select?. well any way thanx for the help all.
