Looks interesting

Hey everyone :)

I've just been watching some clips of this game on youtube and it reminds me a lot of an old game I loved called Master of Magic.  How similar are they?

I have heard allot about that mysterious game master of magic, and i think i even saw a post some time ago with Frogboy saying they would try and get it available on Impulse. I have been watching for it on Impulse for some time but all i see is some game called mater of orion instead.

Possibly the cpywright holders of master of magic must be pricks or have nasty contractual things stopping them putting it on Impulse?

Elemental is intended to be a spiritual successor to MoM. It's the same general idea. Elemental handles spell books differently, and also has quests. And you design units.

I'm not sure how soon the demo is slated for. But if you really love MoM, you'll probably quite like Elemental.

You can get MoM for $6 on gog.com - no DRM. Lots of old games available there cheap.

Thanks for that, i will check it out. But still, Impulse has a good quantity of old cheap games, so i dunno why they cannot have MOM as well? I'm also looking for civ2 as well since my disk is funky due to a scratch and i can find no, no disk patch for it. Don't you just hate the way game companies abandon old games without releasing a no disk patch???

Mind you, even in the case where my game disks are fine, sometimes it is easier and simpler to just buy the game off Impulse anyway.... i did this for Total Annihilation recently. There are several expansions with that game, and i was too lazy to install them all from disk on to my computer, because it takes so long doing it that way and for just five dollars i could get it all on Impulse, so why wouldn't i, honestly???
