Help - WindowBlinds 4.20.017 - Lockups with Win2000

I started having weird window lockups a few days ago. Meaning, certain windows would just be unrepsonsive, especially the windowsblinds configure panel, but other windows too. All I could do was ctrl/alt/delete and then shut them down. It was strange because it would only affect one window, other windows behind would function normally.

The problem cleared up when I unloaded windowblinds, so I updated to the latest version, and it still happened. Then I uninstalled WB4 and went back to 3.51.053 and the problem cleared up. So . . .

What features am I going to miss with the old version compared to the new one?

Is this a known problem with win2000?

Other programs I have running:
IconPackager
CursorXP
Webblinds
ThemeManager
WinStyles

My system:
Athlon XP2500
512MB 2700 Ram
NForce 2 Deluxe Mobo
Win2000Pro (latest service packs)
Geforce Ti4200 (45.23)
Directx 9.1

It should work on win2k. I saw another thread somewhere about this though, so maybe its not just a random thing.

questions: do you run another theming program besides stardocks like stylexp or a hacked uxtheme file?

why do you have both thememanager and winstyles?

did it mess up only one program or did every program have errors including the explorer?
