Do you have Desktop X installed?

If you do have Desktop X installed and the file ends in a "dxtheme" extension, double-clicking on it will initiate activation.

My theme does not have the dxtheme extension. It's the sputnik theme here. I got desktop X installed. I just need to know how to load my theme. thx a lot.

with desktopX running, right click on your desktop, a popup menu appears, at the bottom it says "desktopX", click that and choose "load theme". You should then get a window with all available themes listed. If sputnik is not there, it's because you didn't put it in the Themes folder in DesktopX. If it IS there, just highlight it and hit apply. DONE.

aha.. well, you don't really want to unzip it. if everything's still in the folder, you can zip it back up and rename it to a .dxtheme from a .zip then, if it's in program files\object desktop\desktopx, dx will find it
