It would be a good idea to post a screen shot like the others do. The good people here may be able to tell you a lot from a screen shot. Don't worry about gentle as you really just want the truth.
neone6, edit your post and remove the link to your skin (in the External Link area).
DaveBax is correct. If you put your art out there, then only ask for honesty. From flattery, no one learns.
Okey. As long as I get it right.... ![]()
The problem is that you used GT3 as a base and a lot of the original GT3 files are still in the folder. Also the new file names start gt3...
Wincustomize policy requires any work uploaded be COMPLETELY original OR contain permission from the original artist for you to use his artwork, upload and distribute it publicly. The permission must be in the form of an email, copy of a PM, IRC log or screen shot from an IM. Please include the permission in a zip file with your submission.
Please review the upload guidelines posted here https://www.wincustomize.com/upload-guidelines
Hmmm.... It doesent LOOK like GT3 so how do I change e names of the files which Are in fact MY design now, without hurting it ?

The ONLY resamblance 2 GT3 is the names of the files...THE DESIGN S MINE !...
Can I some how change the filenames ?
Go to file > substyle management. Click on the top file and hit "rename" While you are there you should delete the extra (original GT3) substyles that are in there.
Also go to file > open skin folder and manually delete the any references you see to GT3
@ 2of3....THX a million. I will try 2 do that !!
Also I´ve mailed "Philly0381" Author of GT3 4 permission Just in case....Still "L A B" design/look is mine.... only the filenames....
Not just in folder, many GT3 images, just color changed, in use in skin, the compact subs are basically GT3 start menu.
This is a hack and slash mod of GT3, so I must disagree with your statement.
Actually you would need to contact Tiggz for permission. He's the original author. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you though......as far as I know, Tiggz hasn't been seen in a while and even his closest associates haven't heard from him in some time.
Okey ! Im getting the Hang of it now.... Took away the substyles.... AND You´re right -The compacts are still there...I´m gonna remove them 2...
I'll give it a go if you want...you can send the .wba to navigatsio@gmail.com (I won't be gentle but honest)
T H X, I´m sending it now, but I think they´ll approve now. ?
I am verrry greatful. /Andrew-"neone6" ![]()
neone6: Please remove the external link from your original post.
Thank you.
I just saw this and have to agree that there are still obvious parts of the GT3 skin in there that need to be removed...in fact the majority of this skin is still GT3 recolored.
And once you've fixed this you should also redo the screenshot of this skin to show that they have been removed. I realize your new to this so this is just a friendly "just so you know" comment that it's not good or acceptable to use any parts of someone else's skin/baby in yours without permission. Using a skin as a template to learn is one thing...but simply altering or recoloring the image files and then calling it your own isn't cool. So just keep that in mind in the future. ![]()
And for future reference you should be aware that many of us have been here a long time and pretty much know the majority of the skins submitted here. So for many of us a simple button from someone's skin will stand out like a neon sign even if it was just recolored. If your doing it for personal use knock yourself out...just don't upload it as yours. And again this is just a friendly "just so you know" comment since your new.
So...having said that...welcome to the site and good luck with any future skins. ![]()
