Anyone else have multiple monitors? I guess not.

I was just wondering if there is anyone else out there with multiple monitors? And if so are there any DesktopX themes out there to play with that span two or more monitors? (does DesktopX even support multiple heads?) I guess this would be difficult to do since monitor placement and stuff can vary so much, but it would be nice to have a cool theme like Sputnik that spralled across both my monitors Oh well.

Not the answer your looking for, but LiteStep has dual monitor support

I don't see why it wouldn't. If you're using a dual head VGA, then the OS just treats your resolution as twice as wide, and DX has worked on every resolution I've used. If you're using 2 VGAs though, I don't know, windows treats them as separate monitors rather than just a very wide single monitor as with the dual heads.

AJ: The Matrox dual head driver I am using is not treating the desktop as "one single monitor". My primary monitor has a resolution of 1600*1200 and my secundary one has 1152*864. I can even setup different color depths for each monitor.

Multi-monitor compatibility really does depend on the drivers and if you are running all monitors at the same resolution. One of the programers here runs DX on a triple monitor set up. I don't have the specifics of his configuration, though.

Ooh, triple screens... *drool* What I have noticed with my Matrox is that the desktop earlier builds of LiteStep only extended onto my first screen. I hope they have that fixed now. Still have to check that.
