HELP!! How to download ships to Library?

I am trying to download a ship design to the Library. I have GalCiv2, Ultimate Edition.

So, I have 2 questions, First-How do I find the ships that I have custom built in my games?

Second-What files do i need to post for it to be a working model?

  1. Look in My Documents\My Games\GC2TwilightArnor\ships.
  2. Upload both the SHIPCONFIG and XML files. Only the SHIPCONFIGs are strictly necessary, but putting them in without the XML files requires some measure of skill.
  3. The Library here is broken, and has been for quite some time. I doubt it will ever be fixed. Try www.i-mod-productions.com .

Is there a way to make the ships appear in a game that you are already playing? Ex.-Play a game on one computer, make an awesome ship, put both needed files onto USB, put on other computer, After doing this is it possible to make the transferred ship appear in an already started game w/ all the necessary techs?

No, once a game is in progress it will only look within the save for ships (or any XML changes for that matter).

How about putting the ship files into the saved game file? Is that possible? If possible, where can I find the saved game file?
