This is supposed to be a really bad one! It was on all the news programs here in the U.K.
Apparently you don't even have to download anything to get it, it just sits there scanning for susceptible systems, and jumps right in.
That's all I know about it. Be VERY careful.

According to Microsoft's web-site, it only affects users on Win2K and NT.
95 - 98 - ME, etc are unaffected

It basically effects servers and uses them for denial of service attacks. This is it's second attack. There are patches on MS, so use them!

ok, this virus mainly affects web servers, or w2k computers with indexing turned-on.
So it won't affect the average Joe-Outlook-Guy, but it IS gonna crash the whole internet anyway, so ya won't be able to read your mail after all
Turns out that sometime around tomorrow, it's gonna launch a VERY massive denial-of-service attack on the white-house website, which should kill a hell lot of routers on the way. If the worm is not disabled, that is.
So have fun, take some time off, go to the beach and return when it's all over...
