I apparently Lost my children >_>

I've had 3 daughters in the game.  I haven't paid attention to how many turns however, None of them are available for me to play as yet.  Its probably been 200 + turns since my first daughter was born and she is no where to be found.  I remember in previous patches having use of my children by now.  Did they push back how long it takes them to age or did my game glitch?  I've searched all my towns and haven't found them anywhere.  Am I not looking in the right place?

They should have spawned in your capital. It sometimes takes a long time for them to appear but I'm not sure exactly how long.

Usually, there is a message that the baby has come of age - forget the exact wording.  When they show up - usually in the capitol, like Dsraider says.

Seems like "All my Children"  soap opera is canceled this season?  (Joke to lighten the pain of missing children....)

Look in your dynasty tab, it will list them there. They will be either newborn babies or grown up! How many parents would live that idea? No terrible two's, no teenage years!!

Your sovereign and spouse are engaged with the management of a vast nation and all its military forces, which in turn are turned towards the rebuilding of a lost civilization in a barren wasteland. They don't have time for childrearing. They've obviously hired (or created) a Nanny of Doom.

I wasn't able to play last night to check, but I have checked my capital for them and never saw any of them.  Its been a little bit since I checked though.  I'll get back tomorrow if I simply misplaced them, or they ran off with Kraxis hipsters because their mother and I ignored them.

Apparently not as much time had passed as I thought.  However when 2 of my daughters finally became of age, one of them had the portrait of one of my archer units.  messing around with her portrait options fixed it though.

I think it takes 25 years now?

It could be its more than 20 years now.

Yeah, it's right around 25 years old, I checked because it seemed like my son wasn't "of age" yet and he was 23 and still a "baby".  It seems like it would be nice to be a little more involved in how that child is brought up, either as a warrior, some sort of diplomat, an administrator or a caster. It's not necessarily a deal breaker to have the son or daughter just spawn with stats, but it seems like it would be nice to sort of direct in some way how those stats will play out.
