Xmas Present

Whats the best way to do it

Hi

I have Object Desktop on my PC and a friend of mine drulles over it, so i have decided that it would make a good Xmas present

As i would prefer it to be a bit of a surprise, what would be the best way of doing it?

As he would need to set up an Account in his name i would imagine.

Am i able to purchase it using his email for the Product and my email for the payment?

If so ,will it all be able to be activated over the Xmas period? as i am in Australia ,Xmas Day will be your Xmas Eve

Might have more question's after any replies

The best thing to do would be to simply gift it to his e-mail address.  He will want to create the account with that address to get his gift.  If you want to delay the delivery and buy now, I would suggest and Impulse gift card, which you can then give to your friend and he can redeem it and use it to buy Object Desktop.  Gift cards are available here:  http://www.impulsedriven.com/giftcards

OK, I done the Gift Card bit but it's been sent to my email address , can i just forward that email to him and then he can download Impulse and install the software he wants ?

EDT: I spent $50 bucks and the first time in my life the Aussie dollar is stronger the the US dollar !! so it only cost me something like $49.95 !

Stardock are closed for the Holidays and won't return to work until January 3rd.  Please email support@stardock.com and start a trouble ticket or sales@stardock.com and they be able to do the transfer of registration to your friends email.

The gift card should have a redemption number which can be applied at checkout.  You should just be able to give that to the person you want and they should be able to redeem it.

I have contacted support on the 4or 5th, as the gift card redemption number did not work

Got a reply from support saying the gift card had been cashed in , so i replied saying that it had not , if it has , can you please tell me what was brought with it and the serials please ?, at this stage, no reply

This is not a bump;-)

I am told the Gift Card is in my Account on Stardock , i do not have the emails or anything as my Motherboard gave out and had to be replaced and i have not been able to find anything relating to this Gift card now.

I just need to know how do i access my Account with Stardock so that i can use this card now ?

In reply #12 a Support person has asked you for the Support Ticket number you received when you contacted Stardock Support.  If you do not have that any more then please email support@stardock.com to start another trouble ticket and explain what the issue is.
