psycho analysis

A strange thought came to me the other night. I wonder how many times people have done a mental analysis on some of artists based on the work they have posted on various sites and their personal sites. If there is a medical group somewhere that is judging the sanity of society on the art work that is being created. If this is happening in any way I really wonder what they have determined and inturn if they are running for cover. Ok just a little mental rambling.

Q: How many psychoanalysts does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: Only one, but the bulb really has to WANT to change.

Boxxi - don't talk to Mobius. I've seen his art work, and he's definitely coo-coo bonkers...

I'm just waiting to see what Crae has to say about skinners mentality, should be interesting.

Elwin, I thought about this the other night, if a person is looking at a peice of art and determines a state of sanity from the art, are they not actually judging themselves instead of the artist. For that person is judging their perspective and emotions brought about by the art and not the emotion or image the artist may of been representing. Ok yes I am nuts a little, but then again you may also be depending on what you saw in my work. Does that make sense? Hmmm oh well time for shock theropy Yippie.....

According to my ex-company tutor I was suffering from emotional and social problems. My reply was that whether or not that was the case was not the issue at that point, not to mention it was complete bullshit anyway. Not much later I was kicked out, hurray!

Anyway, art critics are those without the skills, who thrive on leeching on the artists' succes, by seeing all kinds of emotinal mubo jumbo and deeper meanings behind it. Bah! It's even worse whan the artist in question actually starts listening to them. And let's not forget the word "artist" is frequently misused in certain communities and sites.

And let us end this venomous outburst with what us craes think the analysts would think:

1. they would find the skinner to seek conformity in non-conformity, for the skinner creates new interfaces for apps (non-conformity), but those interfaces aren't that innovative or new (conformity)

2. they would find the skinner to have a deep need for personalisation of the machine, this might be because the skinner finally takes revenge on the programmer by messing up the "carefully crafted" interfaces of the apps or because the skinner is confined to meaningless cubicles where the only expression he/she has lies in crafting his machine

3. they would find the skinner to have a need for appreciation by others, does he or she not post his/her stuff on big sites for all to see and praise?

Ack! Long posts! Evil!!

Anyway, the experts would conclude the skinner is deeply messed up. Then they would write a book on skinners, show up on Oprah as experts and gain enough cash to get that new estate they were after all these years.

I just KNEW it would be interesting!

Thankyou, Mr. BoXXi.....

Well, my slant on skinners v. psychotic behaviour would be that skinners have simply found a new outlet for that creativity otherwise manifested in finger-painting in drool, yes, you know, admit it, staring into space...in search of motivation and creativity, you dribble onto your keyboard, and as you doodle in the drool, it enters the workings, and with a spark of enthusiastic response the computer goes dead...................

I think we should have the Hippy's view of this. Being one of dubious mental stability, he is well qualified to speak in this arena.

Mobius: All joking aside:
If you agree with Hermann Rorschach's inkblot test theory, when a person looks at something like an abstract piece of work, the person looking at the work and his interpretation of it, tells you about the observer - not the artist.

yes elwin that is a more clear view of the response I posted to you a few days ago. Like they say over 60 percent of the people that go into the psychiatric field get into it to solve their own issues.

considering the large number of skinz i have looked at, i have concluded that skinners are overly preocupied with 2 dimensional thinking

there is no real evidence that skinners grasp the larger n dimensional picture, there is no usage of the higher 34 senses, the gravitational edies are quite bland.

all in all they seem to be prime examples of matter based thinkers

/me thinks most phycologists are missing these basic points, so shouldnt be listened to

Yes, I never listen to phycologists. Just because they know about algae, what right does that give them to analyse my mind?
