1.09u CTD

Got a CTD but no dump file is created.. is there something i need to turn on to allow these to be created or what?

 

Only thing I can find is a  mscvr80.dll error in the event viewer that coincides with the crash.

 

Doubt its any use but here it is. If nothing else maybe it'll point to a problem on my end.

 

Faulting application elemental.exe, version 1.0.9.32, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.4053, fault address 0x00008aa0.

 

Since im running into crashes and issues and pretty much not able to supply any useful data ill stop testing for now. :waaaa:

Me neither have any .zip or .dmp files created. Got another crash minutes ago:

And again. Same issue? Idk but heres the new dump so you can tell me.

If its the same thing over and over I'll stop posting so let me know. All i know at this point is it happens after 10-15 mins of playing.. same game later saves.

I could probably continue this all day.. play for 15 mins crash post dump.. etc.. so let me know if you want more dump files. I will say the gameplay dynamics are much more fun now though :w00t:

Seriously let me know if you want more dump files or if this is the same issue repeating itself.

 

Also to note.. the ones that created Dump files were not a .dll error like the previous crashes. Event viewer faulted elemental itself.

Okay noticed my sound drivers were pretty old.. so updated them and tried one more time.

This completes my testing of this version (unless you actually want more dump files lol)

Long story short this is a repeating crash i can almost predict. 10-15 mins of play.. maybe if i wasn't so distracted by playing i woulda counted turns in between.

  Thanks for the crash dumps, they are greatly appreciated.  We will take a look at these.  Please check out patch "v" if you get a few minutes and let me know if the issues continue.
