Suggestion for forums

Hi,

I don't know what package is being used here, or how easy it would be, but would it be possible to add a feature to edit your posts? Myself, and I'm sure many others have hit the stop button to tweak something, praying it's on time, only to find a double post. It would be very nice to have, and I'd be willing to help out with the coding.

Cheers,

AJ

YEA! I like that idea too!

Well, I consider myself to be "pretty tasty" with ASP, having a few years experience in that department. So if any siteops happen to read this and like the idea, drop me an email, and I'll do it, FOC of course.

Hey AJ, I'm just learning ASP. Maybe you could lend me some of your knowledge?

Absolutely, anything you need to know, need samples of how to do stuff, whatever, just drop me an email at the address shown in my profile, or ICQ me at 48156406.

I gotta say... AJ knows ASP! AJ took the time to solve a dilemma for me and I have no doubt that AJ's skills are most credible.

not sure it could be a great idea that's why we did not make it

i've always had some belief that was embedded into brain from the skinz.org community/site that when you write something it should stay that way.

It seems WC has adopted a similar policy?

umm, maybe allow us to delete that extra post that we make when something like the above happens

- sigh -

Double posts can be deleted...

Mess up and live with the consequences. Besides you can't trust skinners with "edit" functions. I might post something, have you all reply and change that to make you look like fools.

And no, a preview option is not cool either.

Fear not, guys....if you have a fit of the wobblies and multiple-post, I'll clean up your mess...
