Request: Wizard's Hat

THe traditional one with the pointy top.  Not these weird skull caps.

+ general wizardry equipment overall.

Getting a little sick of every single one of my sovs having to conform to the 'warrior' arch type just to be a valid force.

Lol, I just care how it looks.  I can't make my harry potter themed games where everyone is wearing a pillbox hat.

I'd like to add my voice to this as well. I generally play Int/Magic driven Sovs and while it's nice to have the super protection of armor and what not; it would also be nice to have some decent robes, and perhaps A HAT! Wands probably wouldn't work though right? :(

How about a "Staff of 'Plow Through Your Neighbor'" to go along with another fantastic write-up here: "Sword of Cheto" ?

I like this idea... My magic sovereign looks an awful lot like my heavy melee characters right now.  :-(

Wizard's hat that would have roughly the same DEF as a helm

Magic Robe that would have roughly the same DEF as a cuirass

and so on...

Rather than having equivalent DEF, I think it'd be more interesting if wizard equipment sacrificed the defensive enhancements endemic to armour but in their place added considerable bonuses to spellcasting. Simple things like additional INT (mind you, INT increases spell resistance too!) and spell damage modifiers  (Perhaps different robes bolster different elements) all the way up to additional mana generation and special abilities. (wands that shoot a weak Flame Dart-esque attack, for instance, but require a certain INT to use)

Of course, this is all part of my desire for far more interesting magical items in the first place.    But I think the most important thing of this, and of all changes made for the game, is to give the player choices.   Important and interesting ones.

Agreed!  Wizard robes, wizard staffs...  The whole blooming shebang!

I'm more interested in undergarments for Sovereigns and Champions. Uncomfortable underwear can really take a person off their game, and affect their overall performance.

We should get better styles of jocks and bras that increase our 'Luck' factor in the game.

Also, clothes with built in special particle effects. What are all these pixels swirling around my nether regions you ask?
