bunch of problems

OK here's the deal.

I've purchased a subscription for this web site and Object Desktop package.

I have problems logging in, downloading (when it works the speed is about 8 kB).

I have cable connection.

The only thing that actually works fine is Cursor XP (I've purchased it too).

I don't know how is this site related to Stardock but I hope someone could help me.

I sent 3 emails so far and got no response. The first one was sent around Thanksgiving.

So far I wasted 60 $.

Is this normal for this company ?

I just need to know so I can contact my bank.

contact your bank as you feel you need to if that is the course your taking...

But, no it is not normal in the least...

The speed issue, make sur eyou are connecting to the East Coast server as the West Coast server crashed and is being rebuilt...

The software not functioning is a bit deeper...

Some back ground on what you are wanting to run, and what your hardware configuration is would be helpful...

We (all of us) here are more than willing to help as we can...

As IPlural says, this isn't the norm for the software, and we'll be glad to assist...... Stardock is probably running behind with the email due to the server fiasco, then the Thanksgiving weekend, but they'll catch up. And no, you haven't wasted your money.......

I won't contact my bank if that was the case. I can wait if you guys have problems.

I was just worried that this company is one of those that never answer any questions.

BTW I don't mind paying for this page. It's great.

In fact 19.99 for two years is CHEAP. You should ask 19.99 for one year and 29.99 for two years.

I have all of the applications installed (Object Desktop).

ALL of the software (but IconPackager and CursorXP) is not responsive.

I have AMD Athlon 2600, 512 MB DDRAM, 80 GD HDD and onboard nVidia 440 MX 8 X (for now).

Other programs and games run just fine.

I'm having problems with Wincustomize Browser, for some reason it downloads some files after start up for about 10 min and once I try to log in, it takes about a minute or so.

If this is temporary due to server problems I can understand that.

But if this is considered normal that's a problem for me.

I switched to cable so I don't have to wait.

Anyways thanks guys for your help

Make sure you have your settings set to reload cached results at startup and auto login. Me personally I use Stardock Central, you can download updates to all software, even betas message boards, web browser, documentation, chat, news all under one program. Here is a link to download the app https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/ give it a try, you will like it I have the wc browser too, but prefer SDC. What version of Windowblinds are you using??

I'm using Stardock Central.

It has slow connection problem just like Wincustomize Browser.

yrag I have a firewall up, but I don't have any problems with it, nor with other applications.

And yes I tried to connect when it's off but it was slow anyway
