Download issues

Hi everyone, I recently bought Company of Heroes Gold, and X3 gold edition. they process fine, but when i start the download it sits for a minute, says "retrying" then says "error". it doesnt specify the error. that is for Company of Heroes. For X3, it just keeps saying "retrying".

Please Help!!!

Thank you. they said that it might be a problem with my 2wire gateway. my firmware version is QT04-6.1.5.48
the model is 2700 HG-D.
I dont know if this will help, but im willing to try anything. Are there any immidiate suggestions that you could give me to try?

They havn't sent a response for three days so i sent a new ticket....... the support on here is really starting to irritate me.

Hey max, hang in there it may be resolvable.  Did you use Impulse to check connections??  Click the ? on upper right to do that.  Did you have your AV software turned off for the download?  You were able to download and install Impulse so... something is working with Impulse and Stardock servers. 

Do you use an advanced software firewall?  If so it may be blocking Impulse.

I would also click on the User Preferences menu (box upper left) and click on reset data(turn off your AV software first though).
