Skinstudio crashing user account

I just recently installed Skinstudio on my new Windows 7 Dell Vostro 3700. Windowblinds seems to work fine, but upon applying a skin change in Skinstudio, the computer just freezes, and upon rebooting I can't login to the account - it just hangs at the welcome screen.

This has happened to me more than once now, and I've remedied it by using the last known good configuration, logging in, uninstalling Skinstudio and windowblinds, changing the theme back to aero and rebooting. However, I still cannot use Skinstudio without it crashing my user account.
