Apogee icons and windows 7?

Hey y'all-

I have the Apogee icon pack from when it first came out.  Have been using Marathon since I upgraded to Win7 from XP.  Decided to move back to Apogee but when IconPackager applies, the icons change to the appropriate color and then change right back to the normal manila icons from Win7.  Is Apogee not compatible?

Did you select a colour from the drop down list before trying to applly the set. The first time I did noy and got all the standard folders but in choosing a colour from the list of 14 it orked fine. I checked out  a few other Paul Boyer Icons and they work fine, including Marathon. I am running Win7 x64

Hey skyzyk-

Thanks for the quick reply.  Yep, for example, I choose Apogee red, the desktop restarts, the folder icons on the desktop change to red but change back to the Win7 default in several seconds.  Should have also mentioned that I am running Win7 32.  Only seems to happen with Apogee.  Other more recent Paul Boyer icons like Marathon seem to work just fine.

Curiouser an curiouser.

Apogee was made during the Windows XP days and likely doesn't support the Live Folders that came out with Vista.

Thanks for the response Lantec.  I suspect that you are correct.  I guess I will retire Apogee in IP and use the icons as Misc. Icons.  Like mormegil's work so I'll probably return to Marathon.

Thanks for the help.
