Help with subdesign

How do I have one skin, but there are 2 different types of the skin? And you could select which version of the skin you want? Such as in BlueCurve, by scratch, https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=3090 when you select the skin in WindowBlinds Advanced Configuration, you can select which type you want when you select the skin(Gnome Start Button or Redhat Start Button). Or when you go to display properties>appearance you can choose a sub design. How would you do this? Thanks

In your main skin, go to tools, windowblinds, manage compound skin. Window comes up with your first skin name on it, then hit the add button, and browse for your second skin vis file and add it. Once you merge the two together, save it. Then you will have a skin with a substyle. If you need more info go here http://www.windowblinds.net/skinning/tips-mulskins.html

In your main skin make sure you have a .ssd file that reads both skins ie...

[SkinStyles]
Number=2

[SkinStyle0]
Name=Skin Name
Skin=Skin Name.uis

[SkinStyle1]
Name=Second Skin Name
Skin=Second Skin Name.sss

And it will work.

When I go to tools, windowblinds, there is nothing that says manage compound skins. Is there another way to get to this window?

CrazyWillis. Open SkinStudio, then open the skin you want to assign as the Main skin.
On the top toolbar click on Tools>Create Compound Skin
The Compound Skin Editor window will open. Click Add and browse the folder of the skin you want to place as a Subskin and add the .UIS file.
Click Save and you are all done.
