how to delete cursor xp cursors

Hello. I use cursor xp for my xp sp2 system. I have downloaded plenty of cursors. I decided to get rid of some cursors that I seldom use. I clicked t "x" and a message appeared asking if I wanted to delete the cursor. I clicked yes and it was gone. However there are a lot of cursors that are not removed no matter how many times I delete them. How do I get rid of these? Thank you for any suggestions.

You can delete the theme's file directly using Windows Explorer.  If you are really using an old CursorXP and not CursorFX they will probably be in C:\Program Files\Stardock\CursorXP\Themes (I think it was "Themes", been awhile).  If not there then the newer version have them in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX (or maybe CursorXP)\Themes.  You are looking for files with the extensions of .CurXPTheme or .CursorFX.

Make sure you don't delete the theme you currently have loaded.  Also, might be a good idea to copy the directory over somewhere first just in case you want to recover something later.

Thank you for your reply DaveRI. That is a very good idea. My program is under c:\program files\wincustomize\cursorfx. Unfortunately there is no folder named themes. I don't see anything so far in the docs and settings. But this is something I can look into and hopefully find. thanks again for getting me started.

Then the themes are probably in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes.
