Downloading Updates

For some reason, downloads through Stardock Central proceed normally to about 25% then rapidly closeout with a "Download Failed" error message. Any ideas?

I had this problem a year ago when i was using windows ME but it wasn't only downloads through Stardock Central but all downloads
but i found that the problem was because i had a lotf spyware and that my firewall was ignoring them so i recommend that you check your computer for spyware using adaware 4 example

Maybe that's because of the recent servers change.
