Verify you have the latest video drivers for your system and try an uninstall > reboot > reinstall > reboot and see if it's just a bad install. If it continues you need to start a ticket with support-at-stardock-dot-com

okay, I've just figured out that it's the beta which causes the problem. I switched back to the latest "ready for release" version and everything works fine. Looking forward to an update that's more stable.

sorry, maybe it's not the beta causing the error. I've just figured out that when I reset opacity level in the explorer background tab, the problem disappears. The same problem happens to "right-click" menus when I change its transparency in the transparency tab. Can anybody tell me how could I not be able to change opacity for explorer background and "right-click" menu? This's odd because I can change transparency of the taskbar, start menu and windows frame without any problem.

I am having the exact same problem, and have had for sometime. Atm, resetting the opacity does not fix it either. :(

sahme, as with the winfx beta, got the machine looking pretty spiffy. The downside is that navigation bar to the right still isn't transparent like with hacked mssstyles, which is what I thought the whole point was in the latest beta, and winfx means my laptop doesn;t sleep properly.

this problem however is the main one...you can go from swift and futuristic looking with nice see through panels to a really horrible grey colour. :(

any help would be nice :)

I've just updated to the latest beta version and the transparency problem seem to be fixed. You should give it a try ^^

i am on the latest beta, even uninstalled and reinstalled, and it still happens. :( I mentioned it over in the other thread on same subject, its just not happening for some unknown reason.
