Metro 2033 is an amazing game. I remember renting it for Xbox 360. I want to buy it really bad. Just check out the game's amazing trailer (HD):

Metro 2033 is definitely a game I will be picking up when it is on one of those Steam sales. I never entertained paying full price, though, as it reminded me of a stripped-down Stalker.
Its been out a while now. You should be able to get it for a good price.
