Every time I restart my computer I have 2 or 3 icons that have moved. I have to restore the Fences backup image almost every time I start my computer. I'm using Fences Pro on Windows 7, 64 bit. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Try uninstalling Fences completely and then run the file below:
http://sd.stardock.com/curtHendzell/clear_fences_settings.reg
Once you do this, reboot and reinstall the latest version through Impulse.
Thanks for the tip, Dewie, but the problem continues. The last folder / icon I open from a desktop "fence" gets moved every time I reboot. I have reinstalled many times & I can't shake this issue. It might seem like a small problem but considering the file I open is one I use often, I have to reset the fences snapshot every time so I can find the file. I don't have any extra settings configured except to add new files to a fence named "new". Is this an unusual issue? Is there anything else I could try.

This was resolved in the latest version of Fences. Please upgrade your Fences Pro or uninstall and reinstall the free version of Fences.

I had the exact same problem with icons "falling out" on Win 7 64-bit reboots.
