Hiergamenon On Elemental Website Should Be In In-Game Researching Screen

I think the in-game researching screen does not provide enough details on the particular tech we are researching. For example, if I research X, it will give be improvement Y, which would improve Z.

However, the hiergamenon on the Elemental website provides these details. Hence, I think it will be good to have the hiergamenon on tech trees implemented into the in-game research screen.

Everything on the website here was ported from the game itself--you can see the in-game Hiergamenon entries by clicking the unlocked/subsequent items in the tech descriptions.

But can technology be seen if it hasn't been unlocked?  I think what I'd like to see is a full tree view like GalCiv2 so I can actually plan for a technology down the road, even if it isn't available yet.

You can click through the "leads to" and "requires" options in the in-game hiergamenon to browse the tree.

Okay, that's fine then.  I, and the OP had no idea it existed, though.  So maybe it needs to be a little more visible/accessible than it currently is.

To each their own.  I'd rather not know (and I look forward to mods so I won't) to build th immersion factor.

{And yes . . after playing the game  a few times I can' avoid not knowing.  :(}

I just checked the in-game hiergamenon. All the techs are arranged in alphabetical order, which means it difficult to read. It should be arranged exactly like the tech tree. In addition, in order to read what does the tech do (what improvements, leads to what, etc), I have to click the tech which brings me to another page.

It will be good to have these information lay out infront of you, just like the hiergamenon on the elemental website, for easy reading. With an overview, we can then plan our research better.
