Anyone have Elemental running on Linux/Wine?

I'm really keen to jump into a new strategy game. Just want to confirm that someone out there has at least got it sorta working on Linux.

Have a look at WineHQ: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=12006

Personally I have not tried since I don't own the game, but somebody did. Check the link.

Copied/pasted from the 1.07 patch section:

What works
Installation
Playing the campaign
Playing a New game
Movies
Sound

What does not

Some fonts are difficult to read even after implementing a workaround.

Objects that should be drawn on the ground often appear in the air (floating trees, rocks, etc.)

What was not tested

Multiplayer

Beating the Game

Additional Comments

Getting the game running requires installation of d3dx9_36 and vcrun2005, through winetricks. Getting fonts to display properly requires deletion of TrajanPro-Bold from the game's 'Fonts' directory. This replaces the game's custom fonts with a Wine fallback. It does not look as nice, but it is readable If performance is low, try switching to 'Cloth Map Only' in the options screen.

I attempted to run it but was unable. However, I didn't necessarily do it the "right" way (that is, installing and all that jazz), I just mounted and tried to run (worked for Demigod).
