object dock 2.0 problem

I am unable to run the ' configure dock' option at all and able to apply any effects tabs etc from system tray menu or from dock

when i select setting option by right clicking in dock i still not get any menu for setting up dock

but when i use version 1.9 it is working properly

 i installed the 2.0 then  switched back to 1.9 as it is not working

please help me

i am using win vista 64 bit os

i tried reinstalling and alll types of combinations like turning off all other programs without sucess!!
