latest patch- bow cost 250 gold now?

I saw some posts saying that bows were cheap, but I tried (with NEW patch, 1.08+) and bows are more expensive than before? What happened?

The 4 gold thread was about the cost of putting bows on on troops in the unit designer, not buying a bow for your sov at the shop.

I was wondering about that too.  I see what there saying.  The troops get the cheap stuff while the ruler gets the gold plated versionXD .
