[1.08B] Transparent menus

Since installing 1.08B I have run into a rather serious problem. Most menus are at least semi transparent (research menu for example), with certain text showing through, but dialogs like messages from Janusk are text on a clear background with a done button. The most serious problem however is after tactical battles because along with the menus being messed up there is no way to exit and continue playing.

Try deleting the contents of C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic\Screens.

Please open your debug.err file in notepad, and link the contents into a post here via pastebin. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.

The file can be found in My Documents\My Games\Elemental

Be sure to copy the debug immediately after the error occurs; if you start the game again, the debug log will be erased and recreated for the new session.
