Spells always Miss

from Stardock Forums

Hi,

my Sovereign, his sons and daughters and my champions always miss their spells since 1.08 (i think but im not sure maybe it was in 1.07 too)

Other creatures like the fire elemental hit most of the time.

I tired different spells and its always the same.

Does anyone have the same problem?

 

And i have another question ( pls send me a PM to keep this thread clear)

How can i support better moral for my troops? The last battles i could not do anything because all my units were in panic.

Thanks for help!

PS: please excuse my english ;) i'm german.

Same problem!!!!! No spells hit worked fine in 1.07 though! Very frustrating.  The game keeps crashing too!!! I turned off all sounds and that helped but I shouldn't have to do this.

Ok now i think the spells missing is not a problem with the patch. It has to do with the Moral of the troops i think. But with a cruel svovereign it seems to be impossible to get a good moral. I started a new game where i'm at turn 452 and the spell still work fine....well i have a moral about 140 or something :)

But yes now it starts to crash because my system runs out of memory :( the game needs 3.5GB of memory atm. Cant play further then round 455 :(

Well back to topic: Please test the spells in a new game if u have bad moral too. Would be nice to no if thats the problem.

Having the same problem with all Sovs. Don't think it is related to moral unless that has been messed up.

My archers miss EVERY single time since 1.08. I think I am going to restart =(

if you continue an old saved game from 1.07 or earlier with the newer patches installed, the spells, archers, and catapults miss every time in tactical combat.  when you start a NEW game it will work again.  ( i'm not convinced the damage calculations work but, whatever
