Minor glitch in faction creator-any ideas on solutions to a fix?

Got EWoM patched it to 1.07 by Impulse am running a Dell Alienware stock Aurora mfg in 2009;anyhow,when i go to select colors for the factions they are all displaced by one place and the last place reads 'string not found'-im not savvy with crunching code or id look it up myself so any helps would be appreciated or am i just gonna haveta reinstall?Otherwise game runs like a top.Also would like intel on how to install player made maps so they show up ingame .Thanks in advance-Grooinator.

Me as well, gets annoying trying to figure out what I'm changing. Can you change the map color selection? it refused to take for me...

Also I can't get it to take a faction rename, and if I double click on the name the entry box turns black. I have to restart the prog to get the black box to go away.

The XML file that stores the faction information can be found in this location:

 

My Documents\My Games\Elemental\Race

 

The file is pretty easy to understand, the colors are defined in RGB values with the last being the transparency. There are some keys that are missing from the faction when you first create it but they are available at the top of the file in the ignore section.

 

I agree the faction editor needs fixed and have had the same problem, but hopefully this will get you through until they are able to do that.
