after installing patch 1.07 i see the influence borders are somehow not shown correctely. on some cities they are missing at all. pls fix.
In the patch notes they say have added an option to disable outlines. It is just a guess, but check if you have it activated for some reason.
actually they ARE there at the beginning of the game. they keep disappearing from time to time. sometimes not shown at all. if you ESC for some time they reappear...
I don't see the AI borders any more either with 1.07 and I have checked and unchecked the disable outlines feature in the options menu numerous times. Am I missing something some where else?
I am also having an issue with this. Borders dissappear then reappear again.
The outlines have nothing to do with showing borders. It's a graphic feature that puts a "hard edge" around 3D objects, that is the black outline that gives the game its cell-shaded look. Toggling that feature shouldn't affect the area-of-influence border.
Are the disappearing after you alt-tab or out of the blue while playing?
I loaded up a previous save and they were completely gone and would not re-appear. Have not tried a new game yet however.
If you can upload that save to drop.io for us and link it here it may be very helpful.
hmm. after restarting the game the problem didnt show up again. everything is fine. maybe its been a problem with the 1.06 save game? watched it very closely - borders dont disappear anymore... (didnt change options.)
