BEX error in Elemental 1.06 :(

I am getting this error (either BEX error or the APPCRASH error - one among the 2) usually the BEX one.  It happens every game since the 1.06 update, but randomly, I've gone as far as 400+ turns before seeing it, or as little as 50 turns.

When my game crashes I get no dump files, no error logs, nothing.

I do notice in taskmanager the Elemental has gone well over 1-1.5 gb of memory usage at this point.

Is anyone else getting this error? 

 

My specs :

Win7 Pro x64, Intel E8400 @ 4ghz , 8gb DDR2 , EVGA GTX460 , 200+gb hd space free.

well in my current game with 1.07 I am no longer getting this error, now.....

I am 329 turns into my first game of 1.07 and I am unable to progress. I saved , and reloaded, and still unable to progress... The next turn button does Nothing!!!!

Check for any units (particularly boats) on autoexplore or long paths that may not be using all their moves.
