The points system is dead

I would love to hear those 5 words "The Point system is dead!" how can you play 1,000,000 turns lose and get 6 points or finish the master quest and get 64 points. please figure out a good solution to the way it is becuase it needs to be an aspect of polish too.   Even if you loss every time your points should be meaningful.  Anyone with me? -Jeremy Sr.

People play this game for a final score?  Is this Frogger?

I'm playing Gal Civ 2 until they fix Elemental. That's what I had to say about the point system.

Points are strongly implemented in Gal Civ 2. For the people who care and want to be competitive, it's a nice touch. Adds a lot to replayability.

I completely agree wit you Zazimire! I'd like to see a high scores spread (like in Gal Civ II) as well, I know this is a detail that they'll likely (hopefully?) add down the road: but it does increase re-playability quite a bit.

Mainly they just need some transparency as to how it's calculated (because right now, who knows?). And also some sort of hall of fame to track your scores so you can try to beat your record.

I think that fixing the point system is ranked 345th in he list of priorities...

I doubt that it is that high.  If they had a total of 1000 existing issues, I am sure it would rank 1001.

But is too boring to have round numbers! Why not have a list of 1137 existing issues? 1000 is too perfect ;)
