Questions about buff/debuff spells

   I use magic to buff a town, does the buff stay when the city is taken over. If I use a debuff city spell does the effect stay when I take over a town? -jeremy Sr.

   can anyone help me? also Why can t you use strategic spells even if a friendly unit is present and it just not affect them. -jeremy Sr. 

Strategic spells suck. There's very little spells that use over 3 - 5 mp please fix this guys.

I've been wondering about this too.  Perhaps there is a city cleansing spell available with more advanced magic technology...
