Egalitarian - Let just us choose gender

I tried Egalitarian for my custom faction. It's alright, I think it's random (or is it not ?). I would rather have the choice when I design a unit I guess. And remove the option altogether in the faction customisation. It's only cosmetic...

I agree with this as well, honestly. Well no, I don't agree with removing the option, I think it should give another benefit -- i.e. when Egalitarian have 2 units for every 1 in the pool of population to choose from as compared to if you weren't Egalitarian.

I do agree with choosing the gender. Otherwise you have to keep exiting and re-entering and exiting and re-entering until you get the gender you want for a particular unit.

You an use the circular arrow icon above the stat block to randomize the appearance which will also pick gender. No need to jump in and out.

But yeah, it should do more or be a 0 point option.

I prefer if this is 0 point cost, since it just for look

It should not be an option, and every faction should just be able to choose their units' genders.

This option should then be replaced with the 2 point option "Haberdashery: Male units can wear fancy hats."

Fully agree, I never quite grasped why a purely cosmetic trait, which has no in-game benefits/drawbacks would even cost points to take in the first place. Either make every faction have this trait initially (and thus, remove it from the list of choices) or, if you WANT to have a "males are the only ones who can fight D:<"-nation, at least make it an option that doesn't cost anything to get.
