Going through the files I noticed that your infernal spell lacks a </SpellDefEffect>

Also in CoreSpells_WATER_Strategic.xml you referenced an effect that wasn't included named named MakeTundraMod

What is the full directory path to place this mod with win7 64 bit?

My Games/Elemental/mods or Program Files (x86)/Stardock Games/Elemental/mods

Thanks in advance :D

Amazing work!  This makes playing a magic wielding Sovereign much cooler!  And yes, I'd like to underline what another poster asked.  Please see what you can do with the 'hurl bolder' spell.  It really is ugly.

Wow.

Fantastic work man. That partical generator can be addicting, I know I have been playing with it, lots of fun.

Icecrown, this is truly great work!

One thing you might consider is removing the dissipating smoke effect that occurs at the tail end of some of the animations.  It drives me crazy to have to wait until every last particle has resolved until I can move or attack.  I think this quick fix would catapult this mod from Great to Legendary status.

there needs to be a "speed combat up" mode :)

Large scale destruction has rarely been prettier. =)

Have you ever experimented with creating a mushroom cloud effect for something like Infernal?
The colour of your Infernal spell means a temperature of maybe 800-900°C.
The hotter it gets, the more it shifts towards the blue. At really insane temperatures (like with a nuke) you get a white-out from sensory overload.

ye, a way control the combat speed will avoid all the frustration that come from seeing the same effect again and again, anyway i may do some change to some spell to make them a little faster  :)

actually no, that was not what i had in mind for the infernal spell, but i may do a nuke like effect for another spell ^^

Will you be doing a makeover of the remaining spells from Death, Life, Ruin, Mastery and Summoning books by any chance?

Right now its not.  While the spell graphics do work, every spell cast will miss unless you use auto resolve.  Turning the mod off (or deleting the files) allows spells to hit normally again in tactical combat.  I have no idea if its the mod itself or if Stardock broke something with mods in general.  Icecrowns mod was the only mod I've ever used so far.

well im using my own mods, and gnilberts and they work fine.

SD could have changed 1 line or something that makes icecrowns spells act differently
