I bought the game.. I started playing and was trying to understand how to play it, and was just getting into the groove with things.. the update comes out and I figured "Cool.. stardock is not letting this one slide" and when I go into the game it says "This save is not compatible with your current version" WTH?!
Apologies, we found an issue that was not easily resolvable except to hit the reset button. 
Patch 1.06 have bug with saves, so you're in wrong place in wrong time. 
Can you start over?
I feel your pain, I restarted for 1.06, went AFK awhile, came back and got 1.0619 and it invalidated the saved game I had just restarted for 1.0618 and to make matters worse earlier in the day I had continued a save from when I restarted when 1.05 came out even though I had made it to chapter 5. Lets just say I'm getting really efficient at playing the first bits of the game.

Back to Turn 1 again i guess.....and all the settings did reset also?
I must admit that I don't mind so much.
Yeah, I'd been playing for about 10 hours, but I was clearly winning, and thus a new start is okay with me. Especially as more bugs have been fixed
