3 quick questions.

1. How do you cast in combat? I have my sovereign selected and do not see how, I am probabbly overlooking it.

2. How come sometime I do not get the option for auto or tactical combat. My party just whacks another group in one hit automatically.

It might be auto resolving easy battles but I hate when my sovereign spends all his mana on an easy battle.

3. What ways are there to raise maximum mana?

1. Hit the spellbook button right next to your mana bar, just like on the strategic map.

2. I believe that is controlled by the combat threshold option in the menu.

If you're in the campaign, you don't have spells until later on. If you're just in a "new game" map, what nessin said. :) It's in the lower right part of the screen.

Same with #2, you can change that in the game options.

For #3, when your character levels up you can spend points on things. The Essence one increases your maximum mana.
